Mystical dreams…
These mystical dreams started first when I was 12 years old where I remember clearly seeing the Earth from a distance, I could see my body sleeping in bed, and I could feel myself move through objects effortlessly, “bodiless-like”. Obviously, it was way before Spiritually became my way of seeing life and I could interpret it in any way.
Why don’t you stage it?
You see, I thought it was enough to find a beautiful place, to create a programme that allows people to do less and be more, a willing assisting teacher and a platform where we can share all of that with people who seek exactly what we offer.
It is time to reflect…
Overall more than 2000 people passed through our stand within 4 days. We exchanged contacts with some, discussed collaborations and participation in retreats with others, shared knowledge about macrame or simply exchanged smiles and hugs!
To Do or Not to do.
What you use as your personal instruction is the experience you get while you practice. So your experience is your Guru, your teacher. Your interpretation of the experience is the sacred teaching.
To Do or Not to DO?
And just like that an alternative to a classical Shakespearean question came to mind: “To do or not to do?”. It feels like a more appropriate question in modern society, or is it just me?
What does freedom mean to you?
Our retreat in the Maldives was one of the most challenging yet providing greatest opportunities for growth and evolution.
How do we create a retreat program?
Many things have to be considered when creating a retreat program. The choice of location, venue, teachers, meals, duration, price and the list goes on. Today we want to share with you how we evaluate those things based on the effect we want our participants to have. It is related to the bodies or layers of the body everyone has. Read further to learn how to understand and nurture all of them!
I am not coming back!
We all have different relationships with words “New Beginnings” and “Change”. For some change brings emotions of fear and uncertainties for others excitement and opportunities.
To be a teacher…
Today is the end of Summer season in the Northern hemisphere and we start to feel the shift of energy in the Nature. Just like leaves falling of the trees, we are urged to let go of what has served its purpose in our lives so we carte space for quietude and rest. Autumn is also known as the time of harvest and celebration when our previous efforts come to fruition. In the olden days and still amongst those who work with Mother Earth, September full Moon is the time to wrap up the hard work over the summer months and start preparing for the Winter season.
New Moon in Leo
The Sun is in Leo now which means fire energy doubled! We are also still in the middle of Venus retrograde which means matters of the heart are the one we have to pay close attention to. The fire can be both destructive and transformative.
We can see the effects of this element ruling nowadays throughout the world and how some places have been hit very hard by it. Yet, if we allow ourselves to step back and look at it as a collective, it all makes sense.
The Lonely Wolf, or SAMSAKARA.
My Samsakara is being a Lonely Wolf. It is easier for me to be alone yet at the same time I feel abandoned when there is no one around me, even if by choice. So whenever a situation presents itself where I feel the echo of abandonment, I immediately feel worthless and want to destroy all I believe in and run away.
Yoga Teacher’s mission
This Full Moon illuminates a lot of questions I thought were long in the past and resolved at least in this lifetime. Yet my mind proves otherwise as my thought process followed the Mission Statement. This Week one of my students completed her Yoga Teacher Training course. The end result took a very different shape to what she initially hoped for. Instead of her 'start of the course' intention of yoga being her "ticket to Life", it became "I don't want to make money from it."
What is mindful living to me? It is about being aware of what is around us…
What does mindfulness and mindful living mean to me?…We all know about the daily gratitude practice and really noticing the trees and the plants and the oceans and the clouds..However, today was the first time when I actually saw it for what it is
Can you ask for what you are not willing to give?
Can you ask for what you are not willing to give? Do you ask for happiness and a peace of mind all the time? Is it achievable? It is easy to feel happy when everything around you is good.
